WESEF 2025 RECAP
WESEF stands for Westchester Science and Engineering Fair. It's an annual event where high school students present their independent research in fields such as biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and environmental science. Participants typically conduct experiments, gather data, analyze results, and draw conclusions, much like professional scientists do. WESEF not only highlights students' academic achievements but also promotes critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Winners often advance to higher-level competitions and may even earn scholarships or recognition for their outstanding contributions to scientific knowledge. It's a fantastic opportunity for young minds to explore their scientific interests and make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.
